It has (new in v.4) a tempo track, which can be edited manually, and as mentioned, can be a MIDI clock slave. Re-arrange the single tracks in Mixbus (move, delete, copy, paste). Leaving the defaut 120 BPM at 120 BPM and record material from my modular system in any clock speed, play with different MIDI controllers at any speed. I mostly use Mixbus as a tape machine, as a multitrack recorder. I think it's important to mention if one works tempo-based or without tempo. Here's a Lemur controller I built for Mixbus: It supports the Mackie MCU protocol, works perfectly with my iCon ICON, reacts to MIDI clock variations if needed, and has probably the best Open Sound Control (OSC) implementation. Mixbus has certainly accelerated the way I work. The channels or channel groups can be routed to buses with tape saturation, similar to the method described above with Satin, but easier. Every channel has, like in a good console, a full channel strip with LP/HP, parametric EQ, and one dynamic processor switchable between Leveler, Limiter, Compressor. The advantage I take from Mixbus is that I don't need dynamic processing and filter plugins anymore. That was done in Cubase, and could have been done in any DAW. Satin has an internal link, to combine a number of channels to the same virtual tape machine. I had similar experiences when the u-he Satin plugin was introduced. Most of the time I disable this and route to the buses, to make use of the tape saturation. When you create a session, all channels are routed to the master by default. For additional buses and more sophisticated EQ per channel I recommend Mixbus32c. The Linux rumor keeps popping up on the Cockos forums, but I've given up on that since it's been a rumor for as long as I've been using the DAW.įor recording only, without virtual synths, I can fully recommend Mixbus. I almost never make music in the box and the workflow feels like it's geared more towards beat production and studios with a lot of MIDI gear. I have a copy of Bitwig and it's not my thing. For many years I was using Cubase 5.5.3 because of its MIDI and remote control options, but switched entirely to Mixbus32c. It certainly looks good, like a mixing console. Maybe Mixbus doesn't sound better than other DAWs. Routing audio and MIDI is easy, remote control via OSC is exceptional, and it sounds good. Orange Knight is an underrated character in Arena. His game plan is rivaled only by his unlock, the Fire Demon. Overall, Orange Knight is one of the easiest characters to pick up and learn. The top 5 Animal Orbs in Snoot, Burly Bear, Hawkster, Piggy, and BiPolar Bear will suffice. Use a Magic heavy weapon that does not reduce Strength. To take advantage of Orange Knight's Magic, attribute to Agility first, and then Magic. He also arguably has the greatest Unlock Path, rivaled only by Blue Knight. With all of this in mind, Orange Knight is considered to be one of the best characters in the game, in the same leagues as Fencer, Industrialist, Blue Knight, Iceskimo, and Fire Demon. Unlike the aforementioned Pink Knight and, to a lesser extant, the Blue Knight, Orange Knight has the least expensive Splash Attack in the game, along with the Fencer, Brute, etc. Orange Knight, boasts one of the longest Splash Attack ranges out of any characters in the game, along with Pink Knight's "Rainbow Chain" Splash Attack. Cult Minions are immune to any elemental effect and take minuscule damage, however, this can be taken advantage of. Fire Demons resist the knockback from all fire attacks. ( Stove Face, Royal Guards, and Coneheads). In addition to that, fire deals full knockback to all heavyweight enemies. Some of the enemies weak to fire include: Barbarians, the Barbarian Boss, Trolls, Bears, Royal Guards, Stove Faces, Fish Men, Snakeys, Iceskimos, Frost King, and Undead Cyclops. Fire has one hit of damage over time, but unlike poison, over half of the enemies are weak to it. Leaps up with yellow flame with black smoke billowing out below, lighting adjacent enemies on fire. We’ve been surprised at the tagging that has taken place, how much of it is really excellent work and how committed some people have been to making our collection even more searchable. Welcome to the first American celebration of graffiti studies.As most of our readers know, we encourage tagging on our online collection and we created Tag! You’re It to make that contribution more fun and more relevant. This Brooklyn instalment of the Tag Conference gathers an unprecedented line-up of established American figures, both underground and institutional, plus some special guests from Europe and Australia. While the working field of graffiti studies is taking shape in Europe, its most veteran and fundamental voices hail from the U.S.A. A full-format Tag Conference with an open call for papers is scheduled for June 29th to July 1st 2023 at the Hamburg University and the Museum for Hamburg History in Germany. The Tag Conference Brooklyn is an invitation-only instalment of the Tag Conference with a focus on contemporary tagging. The Tag Conference is proud to showcase as well the work of independent researchers and ‘rogue archivists’, culturally invaluable but often overlooked by academia. The event’s groundbreaking focus on ‘name-writing of all eras’ has brought together academics studying historical wall-writing with the new scholars of contemporary graffiti, often insiders of the culture, creating the first point of contact between these two research spheres.
